MIGUEL OLIVARES, JR.
MARCH 8, 1982 - FEBRUARY 7, 2010Miguel Olivares, Jr., 27, of Oyster Creek, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, February 7, 2010. He was born March 8, 1982, in Weslaco, Texas.
He is survived by his beloved son, Matthew Ian Olivares; parents, Antonio and Gracie Diaz of Oyster Creek; biological father, Miguel Olivares of Santa Rosa; his eldest sister, Brenda Garcia and husband, Augustine of Rockport; his baby sister, Stephany Diaz of Oyster Creek; 2 nephews, Diego and Roman; niece, Genave, all of Rockport; and many other loving relatives and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fernando Saenz, Sr.; great-grandmother, Gregoria Sanchez; and uncle, Alberto Saenz, all of San Benito.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Freeport with Pastor Abel Garcia officiating.
Burial will be in Restwood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute.
