EDNA EARL CUPPLES
JULY 14, 1914 - FEBRUARY 21, 2010Edna Earl Cupples, 95, of Lake Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 14, 1914, in Columbia, Mississippi, to Albert Monroe and Pauline Autrey.
She is survived by her sister, Irene Warren of Hector, Arkansas; daughters, Ruth Terrill (Gene) of Richwood, Danita Pitts (Grover) of Velvet Ridge, Arkansas and Micki Duncan (Bill) of Lake Jackson; daughter-in-law, Loretta Cupples of Brazoria; grandchildren, Ronald, Garry and Terry Coldwater, Randall and Nathan Laughlin, Sheryl Smith and Kelley Frey; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Layo Owen Cupples; sons, Gary Dale, Wayne Layo and Doyle Ray Cupples; parents; six sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Stroud Funeral Home, with Rev. Troy Herrington officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time.
