Jeremy Paul Soria, 39, of Clute, TX passed away on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. Jeremy was born on October 4th, 1979 in Freeport, TX to Julian “Paul” Soria and Cindy Smith. Jeremy was the oldest of three siblings. He grew up in the Brazosport area with his Mother Cindy, Stepfather Don, and brother and sister, Jason and Chelsea.
Jeremy was a creative child who grew up spending time with extended family, and had fond memories of summers at his Grandparents. He graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1999 and went on to work various jobs in the restaurant industry. Jeremy loved to cook, and would often plan out elaborate meals for his friends and family. He also loved music and movies. You could often find him at the local theater when the newest blockbuster hit the big screen, and he always had a movie line to quote to you. Jeremy was a Father to two sons, Raymond (Ray) Stokely (10) and Noah Soria (8), and he loved his boys more than anything in this world.
Jeremy was survived by his sons Ray and Noah, mother Cindy Smith, stepfather Don Smith, brother Jason (Jenn) Soria, sister Chelsea (Ashley Williams) Smith, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father Julian “Paul” Soria, sister-in-law Stephanie Soria, Maternal Grandparents Raymond and Frances Gunderman, Paternal Grandparents Leonardo and Trinidad Soria, and step grandparents Marvin and Margarette Smith.
A memorial service will be held at Brazos Pointe Fellowship in Lake Jackson on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 at 7pm. Pastor Greg Pickering will be officiating. `Arrangements for the service are being handled by Stroud Funeral Home in Clute, TX.
