Mathew Wade Bell, a gift from God, was placed in the arms of his mother on March 5, 1998 and lifted up into the arms of the Lord on March 6, 2019.
Mathew was loved so dearly by his mother; younger brother; little sister; and his granny. He lived a life that was full of that love, laughter, good times, family, many friends, and so much more.
The years he was a child he enjoyed playing video games with his parents and younger brother, with the occasions of many friends that came over to be considered part of the family. He enjoyed playing hide and seek with his dad and younger siblings, family movie nights, rough housing with his family on the floor, going to parks, riding his bike with his brother, and as a family to help work on his grandparents home and land in East Texas through the years that kept a strong family bond.
Mathew grew up loving to play football and soccer that included playing for the City of Freeport as his dad coached one year, The Lake Jackson Buccaneers, and The Hawkins Hawks where he made Varsity his freshman year.
He was one to be competitive and give his all in whatever he was doing that won him his many trophies that are placed proudly in his mother’s home throughout the years.
Mathew loved his parents, his brother, sister, his family, friends, his animals that have come and gone through the years, fishing, mudding, cruising , helping others, working on his truck, cooking for his mom and granny, traveling, going to the beach, bonfires, camping, working, and anything that included being active or making the most out of life.
Mathew will be loved and missed and his absence will be forever felt by his parents; mother; Carrie J. Bell McNutt, father; Michael W. Bell, and his family, dad; Ryan K. McNutt, and family, brother; Christopher M. Bell, sister; Amari J. McNutt, and his granny Barbara Thomas. He also leaves behind his aunt Michele, uncle Sid, and cousin Cheyanne Casper. His aunt Heather and cousin Olivia Krause, uncle Robert and aunt Mallory Bell and family, uncle Matt and cousin Derek Christman.
Mathew was met at the heavenly gates by his grandparents, James H. Thomas, Clifton (Sonny) Stojanek, Peyton and Shirley Bell, and his aunt Jodie Renee Stojanek Christman as he entered. ” Mathew is now safe in the arms of Jesus”
There will be a funeral service, on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Family Life Church in Lake Jackson.
