Norma Gean Strother died peacefully in her sleep on July 22, 2025 at Mabel’s Place Hospice Center in La Marque. She was a loving Christian wife to her husband Jerry Strother of 42 years from Dickinson.
She leaves behind her husband; Jerry, son; David Stroud and wife Charlotte from Angleton, daughter; Nita Mullin and husband David from Waxahachie, Jerry’s three children; Terry Vickers and husband Mike, Wayne Strother and wife Virginia, and Keith Strother, and sister; Nan Duncan. She was a loving Mimi to granddaughters; Heather Allen, Jessica Bundrick, Heather Tomberlin and Alicia Remmers, grandsons; Brandon, Chase, and J.G. Vickers, Cameron and Elijah Strother, and Brad Remmers. She had six great-grandchildren Parker and Peyton Allen, Everly Vickers, Ezekiel Strother, Ryan and Caitlin Tomberlin, and Jackson and Carson Remmers.
She is preceded in death by her parents; E.J. and Jozelle Fulton, son; Charles “Chuck” Stroud, sister; Deanna Kay Fulton, and grandson; Jeff Mullin.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 26 at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Drive Baptist Church in Dickinson. Family is requesting that all attending wear red, white and blue to honor our country.
