Rick Bejarano, 41, of Bay City, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1984, in Galveston, Texas.
Rick will always be remembered as a man with a big heart — always lending a helping hand and giving his last to anyone in need. His smile and laughter were truly contagious, lighting up every room he entered.
He had a passion for cooking, known for his famous ribs and bacon-wrapped chicken, and loved spending time working on vehicles. Above all, Rick was an incredible father who loved teaching his kids about life, fishing, crabbing, and, of course, sharing snacks. He found joy in making others happy and went out of his way to do so. Rick was a true family man whose love and kindness will forever be remembered.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Monica Bejarano; his children, Janemarie Bejarano, Sophia Nicole Bejarano, Jorge Enrique Bejarano, and Liliana Lucinda Bejarano; his siblings, Librado Bejarano, Gerardo Bejarano, Raymond Bejarano, Juana Rivera, Carolina Bejarano, and Margarita Bejarano; and his parents, Melinda Yanez and Jorge Martinez.
A viewing will be held on October 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stroud Funeral Home.
Heaven gained a beautiful soul. Rick’s spirit will live on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
