Carol Ballard, age 78, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on August 31, 1947, Carol lived a life marked by strength, faith, and devotion to those she loved. She was known for her honest spirit, unwavering determination, and deep love for her family. Above all, Carol loved the Lord and found great comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life.

Carol is survived by her sons, Troy Bradberry, and Timmy Bradberry and wife, Kelly Bradberry; her brother, Charles Morgan and wife, Pat Morgan; her brother-in-law, Harry Mckelvy and her sister-in-law, Sandy Morgan; her grandchildren, Caleb Hurley (Kara Poland) Kaylee Baroni (Blair Baroni), Ryan Bradberry (Britney Bevers), Olivia Conn (Nat Conn), and Kennedy Bradberry (Jacob Moore); her great-grandchildren, Naray, Faith, Chandler, Kaleb, Solana, Hope, Reese, and Cooper; and her best friend of 57 years, Linda McAda. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. Morgan and Lucille Morgan; her brother, Tommy Morgan; and her sister, Ruth McKelvy.

Carol will be remembered for her strong will, loving heart, and steadfast faith. Those who knew her will remember her sass, her stubborn streak, her honesty, and the way she loved her family fiercely. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who went before her and is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at Stroud Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25th at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held for family Wednesday, June 24th from 5-6 PM. It will be open for friends to attend from 6-8 PM. Interment will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Bradberry, Jesse Aguilar, Clinton Morgan, Cody Geserick, Taylor Ricca, and Travis Ricca.
