Clifford Wade Hoff

Clifford Wade Hoff, of Waller, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 at the age of 62. Clifford was born on November 21, 1958 in Hempstead, Texas to Herman and Betty Jean Hoff. He was baptized at Nelsonville Brethren Church and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. He graduated from Waller High School in 1977, where he was a member of FFA and played football.

After high school, Clifford began his career with Lubrication Systems Co. where he worked as a Technician for more than 29 years. He spent his free time raising cattle, working on various projects, and hanging out with family and friends. He was known as Cliff to his family and friends, Dad to his girls, but he was most proud to be called Pappy by his grandchildren. He enjoyed drawing, watching westerns, and loved to hunt.

Clifford is survived by his parents, Herman and Betty Hoff; daughter, Kaley Crisp and husband Colby; daughter, Taylor Hoff and wife, Danielle; grandchildren, Crew Crisp and Bryson Hoff; brother, Russell Hoff and wife Robin; sister, Brenda Mize and husband Steve; and many other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Sean Hoff, Andrew Mize, Brandon Mize, Steven Mize, Kenny Sillavan and Brent Stepan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Turpin, Butch Bremer, David Reynolds and Jerry Knebel.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waller, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waller, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
