Benjamin Espinoza, “best known as el cachas de oro”. 79 years old, of Clute, passed away February 12, 2026. He was born in Mexico to his parents, Edelmiro and Antonia Espinoza.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 61 years of marriage, Bertha Espinoza. He is also survived by his two daughters, Mirna Espinoza, Marisol Espinoza and one son, Ben Espinoza and wife Maggie Levario, eight grandchildren; Dayela, Robert, Alex, Veronica, Isaac, Luis Pablo, Isabella, and Jocelyn, seven great grandchildren; Aybrianna, Aeleana, Noah, Abram, Briella, Isaiah, and Rome. He is also survived by his two brothers, Edelmiro, and Alfredo and two sisters, Elvira, and Rosa.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, family from 5:00-6:00pm, public 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral service, Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 am at Stroud Funeral Home. Interment will be at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute.
