Olga De Calvillo passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at the age of 67. She was born on February 17, 1958, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas.
She married her sweetheart, Jesus Calvillo Tamez on January 3, 1978. Jesus and Olga settled in Freeport, Texas, in 1989 where they raised their five kids. Olga deeply loved her family and was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother. Olga was a dedicated Christian who worshipped at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, in Freeport.
Olga was preceded in death by her dad, Jesus Saucedo.
She is survived by husband, Jesus Calvillo; her five children, Saul Calvillo (Leslie), Joel Calvillo (Jeannie), Maria Garcia (Freddy), Aracely Calvillo (Daniel Gonzalez) and Jesus A. Calvillo; grandchildren, Fabian Calvillo, Fernando Calvillo, Fabian Ayala, Evonnie Ayala, Angel Garcia, Claribel Garcia, Daniel Gonzalez, Isaiah Gonzalez, and Natalie Gonzalez; and her mother, Herlinda Gonzalez.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 29th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Stroud Funeral Home, 538 Brazosport Blvd N, Clute, TX. Followed by the Burial at Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Rd, Angleton, TX. Come share memories and stories 3:00 p.m. at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, 1715 N Avenue Q, Freeport, TX.
