Heaven rejoiced and welcomed Aida Roman as she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1943, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Aida had a joyful heart and loved her family, her church and most of all God.
She was preceded in death by her husband German Roman. Survivors include her three children Debra Perry (Brent), Raymond Roman (Kacey), Brenda Lewis, best friend & twin sister Iraida Perez, special niece Esther Quiles, grandchildren Monica Garcia, Kelsey Jones (Nathan), Emily Perry, Kayla Wheeler (James), Ray Roman Jr (Brittany), Brandon Lewis, Blake Perry, Riley Roman, Jamie Roman, Colton Roman & numerous great grandchildren, nieces/nephews that she loved dearly and her beloved church family from Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel. We are grateful and thankful for Oak Village Healthcare, especially Lindsay, Paula, Gary, Katherine, Rosario, Delinda, Theresa and Jared that were all so caring to her. Choice Hospice Kelli & Bryenna were a true blessing to our family in Aida’s final days.
Celebration of Aida’s homecoming will be on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel, 1521 Laffitte St, Freeport, TX. Visitation will be from 4:30pm-6:00pm followed immediately by service 6:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted through Stroud Funeral Home.
