Harvey Lee Burson, 79, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2026. Born on March 16, 1947, in Conroe, Texas, he was the son of Huey Burson and Marion Burson.
He spent his early years in Conroe before making his home in Brazoria, where he lived in his later years.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Harvey found his greatest joy in the love of his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Linda Burson, and his children, Julie Burson, Letha Grant, Lesley Jean, and Wayne Barnes.
His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Amber Melton, Alyssa Rodriguez, Waylon Grant, Tessa Harvick, Shelby Grant, Leah Jean, Patrick Jean, and Kylie Barnes, as well as his great-grandchildren, Journee Conley, Rylan Patton, Sawyer Tucker, Tylen Santiago, Ella Harvick, Abby Mullins, Walker Grant, Brianna Jean-Herrera, Aiden Jean, Jocelynn Knight, and Parker Jean.
Harvey spent the majority of his life working as a truck driver, a career he dedicated himself to until his retirement. He took pride in his work and the life he built through the years on the road.
In his free time, Harvey loved talking about history and sharing his knowledge with those around him.
He is survived by his siblings, Joann Michelle, Allen Burson, Homer Burson, Joseph Myrick, and Melanie Porrovecchino and was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Burson and Doug Burson.
Harvey will be deeply missed, and his memory will be carried on by all who knew and loved him.
