Jesus Aguilar, born on February 13th, 1959, in Michoacan, Mexico, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025.
Jesus was married to the love of his life, Bertha Aguilar, and enjoyed 41 beautiful years together. He and Bertha raised two children, Jessica Sanchez and Jesus Aguilar, Jr. in Freeport, Texas.
Jesus was an avid outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed every moment in the great outdoors. He was always proud of his hunting trophies that hang in his home and loved to share his stories from his hunting adventures.
He was a longtime, and current pipefitter journeyman who loved his craft and never shied away from hard work to provide for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fidencio Aguilar, and Francisca Heredia.
Jesus is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Aguilar; his children, Jessica Sanchez and husband Luis, Jesus Aguilar, Jr. and wife Celeste; his grandchildren, Luis, Jr., Imara, Leylani, Kaleb, Emily and Elliana; his sister Maria Aguilar; his nephew, Ivan Aguilar and wife Vanessa; his great-nephew Ivan, Jr. and great-niece Mia.
Jesus was known for his love for his family and his compassion and willingness to help those in need. He will forever be missed.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at Stroud Funeral Home, Clute, Texas with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Freeport, Texas. Graveside services will follow at Restwood Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.
