Martha Jane June Lorraine Corona, age 34, a lifelong resident of Clute Texas, earned her angel wings unexpectedly on (Saturday), April 13th, 2024.
Martha Jane June Lorraine Corona was born the youngest of five children on February 2nd, 1990, to her lovely parents, Bernetta Sue Corona (Mother) and Jose Luis Corona (Father), in Galveston, Texas. Growing up, Martha enjoyed being with her friends and being outside. Martha was an outstanding softball player and enjoyed various music artists. Martha accepted Christ at an early age and received her formal education in Clute, Texas. Martha loved taking care of her nieces and nephews and being around them. Martha enjoyed doing arts and crafts when she had free time. Her family was her whole life, and she loved each of them completely. She enjoyed meeting new people and visiting different states.
Martha met the love of her life and lifelong companion, Joseph Armstrong, and married December 30, 2019. Martha was a one-of-a-kind wife, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; We will love and miss her until we reunite one day.
Martha is survived by her loving parents, Bernetta Sue Corona and Jose Luis Corona; her husband, Joseph Armstrong; her seven children: Zoe, age seventeen; Julian, age sixteen; Suri, age twelve; Zachary, age eight; Mercury, age four; Ares, age three; and Ayla, age two; her brothers Chris Corona and Jose Corona; her sisters Maria Corona and Samantha Corona; and uncles and aunts; and numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Martha is preceded in death by both grandmothers Nita June Risinger; Maria Nicolasa Corona; and both grandfathers Frank Allen Risinger; Florentino Corona; in heaven.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Stroud Funeral Home, burial at Angleton Cemetery.
