With profound love and deep sorrow, the family of Mary Aurleia Garcia announces her peaceful passing on August 14, 2025, just days after her 83rd birthday. She was born on August 11, 1942 to Fernando and Viviana Salinas.

Mary lived her life, rooted in faith, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the heart of her home, a nurturer of generations, and a woman of remarkable strength and grace.

Her home was a Haven of kindness, comfort, and delicious food, always filled with laughter and memories. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family will carry her legacy in their hearts forever.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Viviana and Fern, Fernando Salinas; Her husband, Tommy Garcia; Great granddaughter Ayva Esquivel.

she is lovingly remembered by her children Adelita “Delly”  A. Rodriguez, Bernadette “Bernie” Moser (Heath), Jimmy Garcia, and Tommy David Garcia (Mona); her brothers Fred Salinas (Rachel), Frank Salinas (Norma), Abel Salinas (Mary); her sisters; Magaret Garcia, Rosie Esquivel (Albert) and Zenida Gonzales, as well as 9 grand children, 12 great grandchildren, 1 grand dog and many cherished relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Jimmy Garcia Jr., Nicholas Garcia, Michael A.Gonzales, Michael Garcia, Adrian Hall, Jeremiah Garcia, and CJ Esquivel. 

A celebration of her life will be held in the coming days, where all who loved her are welcome to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived.

A funeral service in loving memory of Mary Aurleia Garcia. Her story began: August 11,1942 – outer hearts changed forever: August 14,2025.

Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring the life of our beloved Mary (Wella) Garcia, Monday, August 18,2025 at Stroud Funeral Home with visitation 10:00 am-11:00am, rosary at 11:00 am, and funeral service 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Gulf a Prairie Cemetery, Hwy 36 and CR 304 at Peach point.
