Monty Granger, 62, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2023.
He was born on January 15,1961, in Fort Lee, Virginia.
Monty is survived by his wife, Debbie Murrell Granger; three sons, Lawrence (Gil), John (Kassie), and Matt; parents, Pat and Lawrence Granger; and numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Marc and grandparents.
He loved working in the Brazosport area at Centerpoint Energy for over 40 years. Thank you to his work family and friends for all your kindness and staying in touch after his retirement and long courageous battle with cancer. It meant so much to him.
He loved fishing, watching the Houston Astros with Debbie, serving in the Angleton Lions Club, and playing his guitar. He will be greatly missed by his bloodhound, Hambone, and poms, Sophie and Willow.
Due to Monty’s request, there will be no service.
A Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.
