October 14, 1977-February 2, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Leon Cady, who left this world far too soon at the age of 47. While his time with us was not nearly long enough, he filled every moment with love, passion, and unwavering dedication to the people he cherished most. He had an unshakable commitment to his family, his beliefs, and his favorite team.

A devoted family man Ron found his greatest joy in the love of his life, Brandy, their three wonderful children Ronald Logan (Kaitlyn Buchanan), Sterling, Ryder, and granddaughter Riverlynn. Whether grilling in the backyard or simply sharing laughs around the dinner table, his family was at the heart of everything he did. His loyalty and love extended to his cherished parents Debra Joyce (John), Roger Cady (Marilyn), Paula Airrington (Bennie), his siblings, Patrick Brown, Roger Cady Jr, Michael Cady (Tina), Robin Villarreal (Manuel), George Cady, Amanda Wright, Lacy Cady, Jonathan Murphy, John Joyce Jr, Mike Joyce, Dennis Mcnutt (Summer), Chris Mcnutt (Tabby), Darren Mcnutt (Ashley), Stormy Mcnutt (Junior), Katherine Howard (Chad), who all held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, his aunts and uncles Brenda Edwards (Herbert), Terrie Boyd (Ed), Rhonda Kimbler, Dana Ross, Stacey Kimbler, Claude Daugherty Jr, Gary Daugherty, Ronnie Cady (Nancy), and Ricky Cady (Michelle), who were not just family but dear friends, mentors, and a source of endless support and wisdom.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Douglas Cady, Beulah Cady, Mildred Cady, Edna DeMoulin, Claude Daugherty Sr. Max Meyers, his dear cousin Brigette Aldridge, aunt Gloria McDonald, uncle Hubert Cady, JW and Kathy Siler, KJ, Ronnie, David, and Charlie Kimbler.

Ron considered his coworkers an extension of his family and took pride in the mentoring and support of those around him.

Beyond family, Ron was a man of deep passion, especially for the Houston Texans. Win or lose, he remained their most loyal fan. Sundays were sacred, not just for football but for the camaraderie and joy it brought.

Politics was another arena where he thrived, always ready for a spirited debate. Armed with facts, wit, and a determination to make a difference, as an army veteran he believed in standing up for what was right and shaping a better future for his community and country. His convictions were unwavering, and his voice was one of passion and purpose.

To know Ron was to know loyalty, kindness, and an infectious enthusiasm for life. His legacy lives on in the traditions he built, the lessons he taught and the love he gave so freely. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025 at 130 Hunters Lane Sweeny Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations by cash check or Zelle (979-308-5336).
